NAT Firewall happens to be a packet filter which prevents uninvited inbound traffic from reaching your PC or any handheld device. This occurs ONLY when you are connected via Ivacy VPN. What makes it special? With Ivacy VPN you have the ability to access multi-login feature up to 5 devices with a single account, all at once.
Why Should I Opt for NAT Firewall?
You may or may not have noticed, but a majority of OS out there has a built-in Firewall. When using a VPN, all incoming traffic goes through ports connected to your system which are by default, open. Although your connection is encrypted but with Ivacy’s NAT firewall, you can select to block all of those ports for improved security.
As a user, you have option to manage and unblock all or any port of your choice. This way an added layer of anonymity and protection against malicious attacks is provided to the user.

How to Setup NAT Firewall?
If you are an existing Ivacy user,
- Access the client area and initiate the NAT Firewall add-on
- An invoice will be generated which you will have to pay a sum against
- You will receive the confirmation email which you will have to confirm
- Now head back to client area and select NAT Firewall from Navigation menu
- Choose from the available options and select to apply settings
If you are a new Ivacy user,
- When buying the subscription, select the checkbox NAT Firewall Add-on
- You will receive the confirmation email, click on it to confirm and go back to your client area
- Choose NAT Firewall from the navigation menu
- Decide on the options and apply to save your settings
