The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) document is leaked. And there is none other than WikiLeaks behind the move.

It took them rigorous five years to negotiate a deal that potentially gives rights to actual owners of the properties – films, TV shows, ebooks, songs, etc. And at last they have succeeded.
The Notorious Aussie Connection
This time again, the Australian Netizens have to be careful. Online piracy has been a highly debatable issue in the country, home to the largest number of online pirates. The Australian Data Retention Law that came into effect two days ago is the first major step to discourage online piracy. The TPP provides the Hollywood Movie Studios and other entertainment conglomerates an internationally recognized threshold, beyond which, any website, found guilty of copyright infringement will be blocked.
The Final Blow
The TPP, ready to be finalized soon, offers the governments to tighten the grip further on ISPs and individual users, involved in downloading and sharing movies online for free. The fine imposed by the Australian Court, in accordance with the TPP pact, is going to be much higher than expected.
The TPP deal is a major milestone for the countries of the Pacific Rim, who are involved in a long standing battle against copyright infringements. This particular pact will enforce the sanctity of intellectual property rights within the 12 countries.
Although, the TPP deal is still in the initial stages, and none of the 12 countries including the US, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Chile, Singapore, Peru, Vietnam, New Zealand and Brunei, have ratified it as yet, there remains a strong chance that every country will come up with its own legal framework and will try to fit the provisions of the TPP into that particular framework.
