IPL 2025 format
The tournament schedule has changed a few times. It originally started in a round-robin format, but this season, all 10 teams will play each other twice in a return to the league-style format.
The top two teams at the end of the league games will face off in the first qualifier. The third- and fourth-placed teams will play in the eliminator.
The winner of the first qualifier will advance directly to the final, while the loser will face the winner of the eliminator in the second qualifier. The winner of that match will become the second team to reach the final.
