A Truth Well Told
“33 men underground;300 mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, and we are their only hope.”
This dialog is surely enough to get you emotional and feel the pain and ordeal those miners must have gone through. This is the beauty of the real-life true story, when made into a film; it simply grips your emotional instincts.
This is the story of 33 heroes, who showed great patience and resilience and survived against all odds. The film rightly portrays the emotions of despair and hope that tend to have a great impact on the viewers.
The drama flick offers rigorous visual effects, but at some points it is marred by an aggressive screenplay. The filmmakers have tried to overlap various angles, thereby leaving no stone unturned to intertwine different bold strokes that surely have let the efforts of the team down.
Antonio Banderas, the lead actor takes the major share of praise for his sublime acting skills. Other actors including Lou Diamond Phillips, Rodrigo Santoro, Juliette Binoche and Gabriel Byrne, have played their parts well.
Movie Release Dates
The movie was first released in Chile on August 06, 2015, and become the second-highest grossing film at the Chilean box office.
After making the headlines back home, the movie is ready to be released on November 13th 2015 across the United States.
How will it Fare?
For me, it’s an outright emotional drama that revolves around the struggles of human lives. True stories tend to attract a large number of audience, that’s for sure. There is a flair of rebuttal, arrogance, and negligence, amid political fiasco. It’s a one-time-must-see movie.
Well, how will the movie fare at the US Box Office, remains to be seen. Let’s wait and watch.
2- By The Sea
This is a romantic drama that captures your attention with excellent cinematography. This much-hyped movie leaves you with much to be desired.
The movie is set in France. It depicts the turbulence and hardships being faced by the married couples. The power couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Pitt, makes a last ditch effort to save the failing marriage and succeed at last.
Star Cast
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Pitt, Mélanie Laurent, Niels Arestrup, Melvil Poupaud, and Richard Bohringer.
IMDB Rating – 6.3

A Romantic Drama
“We’re gonna talk about it, Nasa. Do you hate me? You know my reason. Wanna hurt me? You’re nothing.”
With Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Pitt in the leading roles, this movie was expected to make a big impact on the viewers. But somehow it has failed to capture the praise of the viewers and critics.
The dialog mentioned above truly depicts the ongoing innate struggles of a married couples. The hard-line approach on part of the director, Angelina Jolie has merely left a stone unturned to let the movie come into a flow.
The cinematography is just perfect. But other elements such as visual effects take the movie down. It’s basically a vanity affair flick. It’s a fact that sometimes, even a star-studded cast can provide no guarantee to attract cinema-goers.
Although, Angelina Jolie Pitt has done a commendable job as both the director and the writer of the film, it just seems like that the chemistry between the two is lacking, sometimes emphasizing pointlessly on the root causes of their troublesome relationship. The so-called stunning visual effects can not make up for a loose script and weak plot of the movie. The director has made an unsuccessful attempt to drag the story to stretch.
Movie Release Dates
This Angelina Jolie Pitt and Brad Pitt starrer is slated to be released on Friday, 13th November, 2015 across the United States. The movie will make its UK premier on December 11, 2015.
How will it Fare?
For me, it’s a romantic drama flick that has created much hype before its official release. The fact remains that apart from exquisite cinematography, the movie is marred by aggressive acting around a weak script and plot.
Well, how will the movie fare at the US Box Office, remains to be seen. Let’s wait and watch.

‘Entertainment’ is a story of a once-glorious stand-up comedian, who finds it hard to survive later in his life. Loneliness and fatigue have caught him over and he is on the verge of complete emotional disintegration.
This movie depicts the life of a struggling stand-up comedian, played by Gregg Turkington. The dead-end gigs, he plays at stand-up comedy shows, excellently veil the hardships of life faced by the actor.

The Silent Emotional Disintegration Beneath the Veil of Comedy
“So sit in peace with a smile on your face and have some fun. That’s what it’s all about.”
The director, Rick Alverson has done a good job at utilizing the seriousness that comes with the darkness of the comedy, to the real effect. The pointlessness of the dead-end jigs is what holds the film together, but there are points, at which the elements of the film don’t gel in well together.
The life is not a bed of roses. This saying rightly fits the theme of the movie ‘Entertainment.’
The movie, provides its audiences with an opportunity to look beyond the character and feel the irony of a lonely soul that finds its solace in making people realize that they need to have fun irrespective of what difficulties a life throws at them.
This is very rare that a movie has gone this far in highlighting the very elements of sadness, emotions, and loneliness. The movie also successfully highlights the fact that life is as cruel as one can imagine.
Release Dates
The movie is going to be released across the United States on Friday, November 13, 2015.
How will it Fare?
In all honesty, I must say that ‘Entertainment’ conveys a really strong message in that it truly depicts the struggles of a fading stand-up comedian. This movie will surely make good impression on a particular cult of audiences, who admire a touch of tragedy within a comedy flick. It’s worth investing your time and money. Go for it.

The movie specifically highlights the social evils of the American culture, namely; homelessness, unemployment, and identity crisis.
