1. Return to Halloween Town
Return to Halloween Town is a sequel to the hit Halloweentown. The fans were utterly disappointed with the recasting of Sara Paxton in place of Kimberly J. Brown as Marnie Piper. That is not to say that Sara Paxton is a horrible actress, it just didn’t bode well with fans of the original.
Controversy aside, this movie deals in the adventures of Marnie and Dylan at Witch University. So be sure to add this one to your wish list.
2. Hocus Pocus
If you rejoice in the festivities of Halloween you couldn’t have missed out on Hocus Pocus. It is a highly revered Halloween flick across the world. During this season people watch Hocus Pocus, religiously even. The film was released back in 1993, and in 2013 the film turned 20 years old.
But that hasn’t made its awesomeness fade with time. The story is about three witches who were hanged till death in the 1600s. Now they are back and out for revenge. Also, to get their hands on everlasting youth. There are teenagers here, of course, why not? These teenagers foil their seemingly foolproof plan and the real fun begins from that point forward.
There were rumors at one point in time that there will be a sequel to this classic Disney channel Halloween movie but Disney was quick to put an end to these rumors by outright denying that there are plans by the studio to develop a sequel to the ’93 classic. So there’s that. We know, we loved it and are sad too.
3. Halloweentown
This is the original, and its sequel was discussed earlier. The original follows a story of a 13-year old Marine as she fights with her mom because she does not allow her to celebrate Halloween. No reasons are mentioned early on, however, during this conflict Marine’s grandmother pays a visit to her house.
It is later revealed that Marine’s mother and grandmother are witches as she overhears their conversation and realizes that this is the reason why her mother always opposed the idea of her celebrating Halloween as she could get in trouble. Marine and her siblings follow their grandmother on a bus headed to Halloweentown (the title) and solve a case of mysterious disappearances that are happening in that town.
A battle between good and evil ensues and well, the good guys come out on top!
4. Girl vs. Monster
A teenage girl (there’s always one) realizes she is not ordinary but a 5th generation monster hunter of sorts. This realization occurs to her a night before Halloween. She later finds out there is a monster named Demetria which is after her. Now it’s up to her to fight her enemy as a teenager. A decent chick flick cum Halloween movie.
5. Can of Worms
This is a weird flick. It may be forgettable for some due to its 90-ish graphics but because it was downright creepy. The character of Mike sends a message up above in space because he believes he’s not from planet Earth. His message is actually received by aliens, and an alien dog name Barnabus shows itself and tells Mike that his message was not well received by the aliens.
To the aliens, it was supposedly an advanced tech than theirs, and thus, they decide to attack. Mike comes to terms with being from Earth as cool and therefore, fights to save it against the alien attack including their boss Thead. The title is an idiom because when he sends the message he opens up a ‘Can of Worms’.
6. Twitches Too
This is a sequel to Twitches and we find Tia and Tamera Mowry reprising their roles as Alex Fielding and Camryn Barnes. Both of them are not on the same page since they both have different aspirations, however, they are of the opinion that their biological father is still alive.
There is a rumor circulating that the father is in Shadowlands where Thantos (evil uncle of girls) is also believed to be present that it makes it a dangerous territory to navigate. ‘Twitches Too’ is flooded with mystery and drama which can be rectified if the twins pull off a spell during a solar eclipse.
7. The Nightmare Before Christmas
There are two factions debating over this movie’s relevance to Halloween. One is of the opinion that it is a Christmas movie while the other faction debates it is a Halloween flick. Either way, The Nightmare Before Christmas is a must-watch and especially when it is helmed by none other than Tim Burton.
TNBC has it all, ghouls, ghosts, and teen horror. The plot revolves around Jack Skellington whose objective is to turn Christmas into a second Halloween. Enticed yet? There is also debate that since TNBC was released via Touchstone Pictures, this exactly doesn’t qualify as a Disney picture. Frankly, who cares? Go watch it anyway!
8. Don’t Look Under The Bed
Yet another one of the top Disney channel Halloween movies. The movie follows Frances who is starting high school a year early and finds herself in different places and on all the wrong occasions. There are spooky pranks happening everywhere in town. Larry, a figment of her imagination agrees to help her and tells her that it’s the Boogeyman who’s framing you.
Not to venture into spoiler territory, but the film follows their quest to unearth the secrets at play in their small town. It’s puzzling, funny, and dark at the same time.
9. Twitches
The original was cool way before ‘Harry Potter’ was cool or the ‘Parent Trap’, for that matter. We have already discussed the sequel above. The story follows twins who were separated during birth but happen to reunite and discover that they are in actuality, wizards.
10. The Scream Team
It is a funnier take on the afterlife. The story is about Ian and Care (played by young Kat Dennings). Their grandfather has recently passed away and the inheritance is left to their father. In that is grandpa’s house which is later found to be full of spirits who are waiting to cross over but as of yet, haven’t.
Our two leads find a mirror that serves as a bridge to the afterlife and that their grandpa is still hasn’t been able to cross over. Now, with three friendlies by their side, they try helping their grandfather cross over and defeat an evil spirit in the process.

Why Use A VPN
If you are unable to access these movies in your region or are practicing torrenting to watch them this Halloween season, might we advise using a decent VPN such as Ivacy? A VPN masks your IP address and renders your presence online anonymous.
Any surveillance agency that might be tracking or monitoring your online activity will be kept at bay as a result. Good Disney channel Halloween movies are accessible only if you are located in the US. If you are outside the US, then we are afraid, you won’t be able to watch all the Halloween movies on Disney Channel as outlined above.
For that, you will be needing a VPN to bypass geo-restricted content.
