Port Forwarding
Port forwarding allows you to accept incoming TCP/UDP connections while being under protection of Ivacy. Having an open TCP/UDP port is required or strongly recommended while using almost any P2P software, because it allows another users to connect to you, giving you a serious speed boost.
And there are a number of other applications (like some IP-telephony solutions) besides P2P which may require you to have a TCP port opened.
Even if you are behind firewall or NAT, you can setup a connection to Ivacy and run this application smoothly.
To take advantage of port forwarding, please go to "Options" menu and press purchase on the "TCP/UDP Port forwarding". Our system will check the available port range and provide you with port number assigned to you. Type the port number you were given into configuration of your software and reconnect to Ivacy.
